This is your mission
As a staff officer, you will drive and be responsible for unit and department-wide issues and handle cases. Your mission includes preparing decision-making materials, managing referrals, and producing summaries, planning documents, agendas, and follow-ups, etc. The work involves internal administration and high demands for collaboration within the authority. There is a strong focus on governance, management, follow-up, and control within the department and managing and coordinating a variety of issues over time.
The work may also, in some cases, involve coordinating the departments' needs for prerequisite-creating measures such as recruitment, competence planning, space needs, contingency planning, and information management.
Since your work involves several parties and many parts of the organization, collaboration and cooperation are central to your role and a prerequisite for succeeding in your mission. You have an interest, a willingness, and the ability to support the organization and create networks with good contacts.
Your placement is at the headquarters in Solna, and the work is performed on-site, which means that you cannot work remotely. Travel within Sweden may occur.

Requirements:
- Academic education deemed relevant for the position by the Swedish Security Service or police degree
- At least two years of relevant work experience within the last five years, e.g., in coordination, preparation, or development
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Good ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
The position requires Swedish citizenship.
You who apply may also have competencies that add breadth and complementary perspectives. If you can contribute with one or more of the following, it is meritorious:
- Experience from working in a staff or with management support
- Experience from working at an authority
- Experience in budget work and financial follow-up
- Experience in coordinating prerequisite-creating measures, such as local planning, recruitment, and competence planning

You are engaged, proactive, and can work both independently and in a group, and you enjoy collaborating and working together with different professional roles within the authority.
The Swedish Security Service has high demands for security and confidentiality, therefore we expect you to have a high security awareness.
